Chepstow Racecourse hosts a mixture of 29 Jump and Flat race meetings during 2007. The variety of weekend, evening, Bank Holiday and midweek meetings mean that you can enjoy exciting racing action at a time that best suits you and, with our popular themed meetings, there really is something for everyone.


Dress Code for Chepstow Racecourse:

How to dress for the races is completely up to you, though we do recommend smart/casual dress for the Premier Enclosure. For a lot of people (especially ladies) dressing up is all part of the fun of going racing and you can be sure that there will be some sights to be seen!

 Top tip: To enjoy a day’s racing to the full may require a good deal of walking around, so give particular thought to your footwear!

By Road

The Racecourse is on the A466 Chepstow to Monmouth road, not far from the Severn Bridge. From the M4 East (Junction 21) or M4 West (Junction 23), take the M48 and exit at Junction 2 (Chepstow).

By Bus

Special Raceday Bus service operates on Saturday, evening and Bank Holiday meetings

By Rail

Chepstow railway station is approximately 1½ miles from the Racecourse.

Direct services operate from Gloucester and Cardiff, from London via Newport, and Bristol via Severn Tunnel Junction. Bristol Parkway is a 20 minute drive away.

By Air

Bristol Airport - approximately 30 miles.

Cardiff Airport - approximately 45 miles.
