Wetherby
Racecourse & Conference Centre is unique in Wetherbyshire because
it
only stages Jump Racing. With arguably the finest Jumping Course
in the North the quality of Wetherby's racing is renowned throughout
the sport and many of the great Steeplechasers and Hurdlers of all time
have graced it's turf.
Dress Code for Wetherby Racecourse: Wetherby does not operate a formal dress code in any
of the enclosures. Those racegoers who wish to use the Premier
Enclosure are kindly requested to wear smart casual clothing and dress
for the weather!

Directions to Wetherby Race Course BY ROAD
From the A1 North or South, take J46 and follow
the sign posting for the ‘Racecourse’.The Racecourse is situated on the
B1224 Wetherby/Wetherby Road, on the outskirts of Wetherby, at the east
side of the A1.
BY TRAIN
The nearest railway stations to the Racecourse are
Leeds, approximately 12 miles, and Wetherby
approximately 14 miles.

Upon arrival, links to the Racecourse are

BY BUS
The 770 runs from Leeds City Centre Bus Station to Wetherby Bus Station every half an hour from Monday to Saturday and every hour on Sundays, (please check times on 0113 245 7676). Starting from Wetherby Rougier Street Bus
Station, and calling at the Railway Station, the 42 service runs to
Wetherby Market Place. Further information can be obtained from the
number above.
To get to the Racecourse from Wetherby
Market place, go to North Street and walk in a northerly direction
until you reach the ‘Esso’ garage.Turn right here onto Wetherby
Road.The
Racecourse entrance is situated on the far side of the A1,
approximately half a mile walk.
BY AIR
Leeds Bradford airport is the closest international airport to the Racecourse, please call 0113 250 9696 for Airport information. Light aircraft can land at the
Wetherbyshire
Gliding Club, Rufforth (01904 738 694), approximately 5 miles from the
Racecourse. Fuel facilities and overnight parking are available at the
club.

Helicopters can land at the Racecourse by
